Yesterdays update summary.
On 16th March Ukrainian forces shot down 5 Russian jets, 3 helicopters and 2 drones.
Russian ground forces are making no progress save around Mariupol. Ukrainian counter attacks north east of Kyiv have inflicted heavy losses on Russian forces. Around Kharkiv it is being reported a Russian regiment commander has been killed.
Reserves from Russian 1st Guard Tanks and 810th Naval Inf have been sent to Ukraine but spread along all contact points to plug holes rather than being concentrated in a particular area for a decisive battle.
Ukraine reporting that Russia has used all their stockpile of precision cruise missiles - although this is likely only those that had been brought forward for the invasion not all Russia had.
Syria has promised up to 40,000 troops to support Russia. Russia has asked for 300 a day to be sent. Ukraine reporting that morale with these Syrian fighters is low and that they are self mutilating in cases to avoid fighting. They are also suggesting the Syrian fighters see it as an opportunity to desert and flee into the EU.

That would depend on how many other things happened that didn't result in 68. People generally think coincidence is some long shot that's unusual. Thing is trillions of things happen every second that aren't a coincidence.
