Good summation, mate. None of the European leaders want to be usurped by somebody who is the self-confessed ‘Leader of them all’, especially when he is following in most areas, setting meetings where others have already walked.It was more an expectation I think. Not sure how realistic that expectation was and Johnson’s comments certainly didn’t help.
My own view, for what it’s worth, is that such is the personal antipathy in most European capitals to Johnson, any excuse not to invite him would be gratefully received.
Although we led with military aid and training, we are very much persona non-grata when it comes to big talks with Western leaders.

Well, that escalated, leaving some of the panel wondering what the fuck was going on.
Tells us that Putin is losing, in his mind, and will consider any threat that could lead to horrible consequences.
He used an exercise to show what his forces can do, expecting Zelensky to run away and leave the country to wave the white flag and allow Putin to put in a puppet government. This didn’t happen and after expending huge amounts of munitions it then left him short, and with a land force that wasn’t ready to fight a friend, leading to him having to resort to terrorist tactics using long range fires on the civilian population.
Putin won’t stop and will use any tactic to prove his strength. Hopefully the Russian regime sees sense and brings this destruction to an end.
