That reminds me of a famous speech made in 1940, part of which I have copied below.If, god forbid, Russia managed to subdue Ukraine, they would have one hell of a job to govern it. The prospect of repressive barbarity will galvanize Ukrainians. They will never surrender.
"we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender"
Just as true today as it was in 1940, in very similar circumstances. The only difference is that it is already taking place in he Ukraine.
