Russian invasion of Ukraine

Our import of Russian fuel oils will end by December not at least by December, gives importers opportunity to find other sources of supply. Unfortunately our German comrades show no signs of ending their contracts with the Russian regime.
No sings, yeah sure.
1 hour ago (via n-tv news ticker):
"German industry intensively prepares for stop of russian oil imports. Most difficult will be the substitution for East-German refinery supplied by a russian pipeline."

Many people seem to forget that some details of energy politics or weapon supports for Ukraine are not being discussed publicly and more developments are going on behind the scenes.

We'll see which song they no sings soon then I hope.

The UN should have voted out Russia much earlier than this and the EU, with other nations, should have put humanitarian missions into the country under the hospice that if they were attacked then we would retaliate in force for any aid workers harmed.

Just an opinion, of course.
So much wrong with this.

Russia haven’t been voted out of the UN. Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council and would have to not veto any vote to get rid of them.

Zelensky is a great communicator. In his address to the nation tonight he said:
"Being brave is our brand."
Brilliant.

Renewable energies sadly need a much higher amount of rare metals like Neodym, Palladium, Scandium, Iridium and guess where a lot is already coming from - Russia, China...
Out of the pan into the fire. Nice times ahead.
China has 44 million metric tonnes of rare earth deposits.
Vietnam has 22 million mt
USA has 1.8 million mt. (as of April 2021).
