I think he is trying to imply that people on here are concerned with Ukraine because they are whiter than the people who live in the other countries he named.

I was talking to a guy earlier this week who helps out at a Samaritans homeless shelter.

He was amazed at how many simply throw the meals away if they don't like what is served!! A significant number have been offered accommodation, but refuse it and choose to remain living on the street. I'm not saying there isn't work to be done, but there are two sides to every story.

I don't know how many have iPhones, but I've seen plenty that have them.........and a dog!!!

Are you talking about homeless folk or those lucky asylum seekers who are living it up at the ritz with there fancy pocket flat screen TV’s and a bed to sleep in? If it’s homeless then the main reason homeless folk decline the offer of accommodation is because there is almost always a condition of being dry/sober in order to qualify and a lot of them are addicts. Anyone who thinks asylum seekers based in cheap hotels are having a great time are sadly mistaken. I’ve done a couple of shifts in the hotels taking blood as part of the medical induction and almost every person I spoke with just wanted to work and have a better life.
