All the commentators say the potential replacements are worse. BUT the very fact that Putin steps down or is forced out would alert the Russian population that things are not going well for them. That in itself could be very significant.

We've only seen the bigger target removal M270/HIMARS missiles in use so far.
UK troops refer to the M270 it as a 1km grid square removal system. A pod comes down on an area 100m by 100m and cluster munitions detonate across pretty much the whole area. Any human being not underground or in an armoured vehicle is in big trouble.
I really wouldn't want to be in the front line when they come down.

Posted a few week back,Ukraine had over 700 co-ordinates of bases,warehouses etc.
I think they concentrated on the left bank of the Dnipro,and now,with the right bank cut off from supplying them they are fucked when they run out,hence the offensive.
