YES -----> Fight for Russia
-----> Die on battlefield OR
-----> Get captured by Ukraine -----> Go to jail

NO -----> Refuse to fight
-----> Execution OR
-----> Go to jail

In JAIL
-----> Execution OR
-----> Fight for Russia

They could of course claim political asylum in Ukrain - probably another route to jail, but a stay in jail option this time...
... unless they want to fight for Ukraine of course.
