They can't bar long range artillery (which invites retaliation) as the Ukrainians have them pushed too far back and the aforementioned retaliation at this stage with the weaponry NATO have given Ukraine will stretch a fair way into Russia. Plus NATO will only give them more and more if it happens as it'll piss off every level headed person in the western world.

They could be that stupid though, time will tell as always.
 
I was reading a tweet that asked “Is Lukashenko dumber than he looks?” Surely that’s not possible.

If he commits his army against Ukraine, there seems to be a feeling that the Belarusian people, and possibly the army itself, wont take it lying down.

Have Belarus got a conventional Army? I thought they were mainly conscripts, similar to the Estonian Army, and not of any relevance to a trained force.
 
Just seen aerial footage on Twitter, presumably authentic and presumably from today given the foliage on the trees. It shows a truly devastating bombardment on a military Russian convoy. Obliterated. Cannot believe that the Russians are still congregating in the wide open, though I suppose fear makes humans draw closer. Shan’t post it here but @Tendar if you’re interested.
