Yep it costs loads of lives and it's horrendous. But the answer to you question is a ratio of about 4 Russian dead (6 if you include Luhanak and Donetsk forces)and injured to 1 Ukrainian dead, missing and and injured. 6k Ukrainian civilians dead too - bound to be more when liberation occurs and the graves of tge murdered Ukrainian civilians are uncovered.

Yup, and the only room for negotiation would be the financial part.

They can be lucky Ukraine/NATO don't pay back all the attacks on civil infrastructure on russian territory although there would be enough reason.
I personally think we should tell them if they attack civil infrastructure once again the same will happen somewhere in russia. Their shit attacks are risk free and that's why it won't stop. That's how Putin's brain is working. We have to define strict rules and consequences.

Unfortunately, wishing peace talks will end a fascist colonial invasion will not make it so, unless by "end" you mean "surrender".

Russia’s equivalent of our Suez Crisis perhaps? It’ll be the end of them as a world power surely, just like Suez was for us.
