The biggest factor in the Ukraine’s military success is their own forces IMHO. Yes the weapons are essential too but the Iraqi and Afghan armies had all the weapons and training, but largely evaporated in the face of battle.

Maybe the biggest contribution of NATO countries has been intelligence gathering that seems to have been a great help.

Maybe a combination of all three with military intelligence, hi-tech weaponry and the heroic stand of the Ukranian people. I don't think Putin reckoned on the resolve and steadfast support from the west which will be his eventual undoing.
