Cant NATO just ' do stuff ' and deny it, the Russians seem more than capable and seem to get away with it. Or am I just being an old romantic at heart.
Boris Johnson on European reactions to invasion:
No surprise.
France still in denial.
Still at least Germany have been forced by their electorate to come to terms with the invasion and provide some military support.
Both still need to pull their fingers out though, which is a bit depressing.
Agree. The perfect opportunity to test out all of the latest military tech.Cant NATO just ' do stuff ' and deny it, the Russians seem more than capable and seem to get away with it. Or am I just being an old romantic at heart.
31 missiles flew at Kyiv, 21 of which were shot down.
it's exactly how it is.These people really are the absolute scum of the earth.
Whilst these attacks are surely born of the desperation of losing on the battlefield that doesn't make them any less damaging.
Johnson’s support of Ukraine is the best thing he’s done in his career.A couple of posters have suggested that both Boris and Sunak visited Zelinsky for self aggrandisement purposes. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reason Boris is a hero in Ukraine is not just the military and humanitarian aid UK gave, but he worked tirelessly in persuading others particularly Germany and France to support Ukraine. On the day of his last visit UK had a foreign office team in every major capital in Western Europe to reinforce the message. It is important that western leaders are seen to visit: it boosts morale of Ukrainian public and sends a message to Russia that we are still in the fight and intend to stay there. Whenever we have a new PM (roughly every 6 weeks) he/she must go there to signal nothing has changed. Give credit where it’s due, even to a Tory!
They can give enough kit to Ukraine to make sure a Ukrainian victory happens.Cant NATO just ' do stuff ' and deny it, the Russians seem more than capable and seem to get away with it. Or am I just being an old romantic at heart.
Only one brilliantly good thingJohnson’s support of Ukraine is the best thing he’s done in his career.
