Russian invasion of Ukraine

From the 2nd onwards there have been some big battles raging in Luhamsk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts.
They started well as Russia advanced a couple of miles in places, but the losses in men and equipment have been immense and groups of Russians in these attacks are now operationally surrounded and are now getting wiped out
 
Trump is now selling, sorry, sending missiles to Ukraine.
Nato will pay for them.
Is it just me that thinks America will be making shed loads of money from this ?
It's the Trump way, first announce the US are halting supplies then announce that a third party are paying for the very same missiles you've just refused to send.

Better than nothing I guess.
We'll see what Trump says on Monday as to whether it will happen.
 
Patriot GEM-T interceptor production near Munich by MBDA (owned by Airbus, BAE and Leonardo) in a JV with Raytheon called COMLOG will produce output from 2026, at least til 2048.

Delivery allowed to European partners, also Ukraine. Not helping right now, obviously.

But 20+ years should be urgently used to deliver an own European system fit for purpose to get more independent.
