Russia can be pushed back to where it was in 2013 without any negotiation. No-one is sensibly talking about invading Russia so not sure why you’ve raised that.Because, lamentably, nobody will be invading Russia and booting him out. So eventually, like it or not, there will be a negotiation.

Russia can be pushed back to where it was in 2013 without any negotiation. No-one is sensibly talking about invading Russia so not sure why you’ve raised that.
Because, even if what you desire happens, there will still be a negotiation over a peace between the countries, unless you also effect regime change in Moscow.

Is the reason for not talking peace by Ukraine because they appear to have a fighting plan for at least part of winter.
Russia needs the break.
Most of its fight force is not equipped for winter and they were banking on Ukrainian troops being stopped by the weather.
