Russian invasion of Ukraine

Stuff 15/10:

- Ukraine hitting refinaries for the 2nd and third time. Refinary / Storage tanks in Crimea hit for the 3rd time.
- Ukraine attacking Russian power infrastructure.
- Russian demonstrations against Putin in St. Petersburg.
- Russian fuel shortages and queues at petrol stations.
- NATO countries stepping up to the plate to support Ukraine with big purchases and weapons donations.
- idiotic tank and APC cavalry charge near doproprov
Perhaps Europe is sensing we're closer to the tipping point - the best time to wade in with critical mass of power and resources, long as Ukraine were able to survive the war of attrition to that moment.

The more you read about Tomahawks, the more you understand that Ukraine will never get their hands on them.

Land based Tomahawk launchers have only been in development since 2019 (as they were banned previously). Apparently the US only has two of them. There’s no way they’re giving either to Ukraine with the current tensions around the world.

There are plenty of sea based (submarine based) launchers that could theoretically be given to Ukraine - but Ukraine lacks the naval power to utilise them.

Ukraine are developing numerous long-distance missiles and I’d imagine this will be a quicker route to hitting targets deeper in Russia, compared to waiting for support from a Donald Trump who’s trying his absolute best to give Putin a lifeline.

Stuff 16/10;

- Another Refinary hit yesterday.
- Ladies of the night double their prices in Russia...
- 2 Pokrovsk armoured offensives in one day by Russia obliterated.

Day 1334 Review:

Of note:
- Lyman attack by Russia carnage.
- Ukraine reduces areas encircled further south.
- Russian oil industry near collapse.

Zelensky visit to Washington...

Trump - total back track on Tomahawks - Putin has reset him.

Confirmed by Chancellor Merz

Could a tomahawk bring the bridge down?

Yes in sufficient numbers. As could the storm shadow and flamingo’s as well as the guided bombs dropped from F16’s if they are willing to risk the planes.

At this point I don’t believe personally that the bridge is still there though lack of means but is intentional.
