Russian invasion of Ukraine

Russians fired missiles from Belarus earlier.
Belarus have now made it clear,they are not happy about Ukrainian Air Defence Missile parts,landing in Belarus.

A New Year "reunion" of NATO troops and equipment along the Belarus border with Lithuania and Poland might concentrate minds somewhat.
 
Gotta love Russia terms for being willing to negotiate. We will only be willing to negotiate once everyone acknowledge that Ukraine never existed and is actually a part of federation of Russia.

It's a PR stunt to make Putin look like he is being reasonable and is sensitive to the needs of the Russian people. For internal consumption only - well, and external propaganda believing fools.

Reuters reporting the Belarus are saying they had downed a Ukrainian S-300 anti air missile around 15km inside their border.

Previously Minsk have said they won’t participate unless it’s own security is threatened by Ukraine or her western allies. I can’t imagine they’d want to send their troops to die off the back of this either so can’t see them making a huge fuss.
