Why is no one trying to end this war in a peaceful way, all I’m hearing is numerous countries offering to send more weapons to help arm the Ukraine. Seems to me a peaceful end is not an option until Putin is defeated.

I have far too little insight but I have the impression - mainly speaking about Germany, but also NATO - that we have serious problems of further ammo supplies for many calibres and our politicians still act like in former peace times.
So I'm not sure it's a drip-feeding strategy. We won't get proper info though.

Possibly because Ukraine's enemy can read its so called needs as well so maybe some dire need shortages have been exaggerated or in actual need cases not mentioned.
