Someone on both sides needs to see some fucking sense. There’s no way anyone can afford a war between the West and Russia, because some **** on one of the sides will escalate to nuclear then we’re all fucking dead.

Absolutely anything is better than a nuclear war, even letting Russia invade Ukraine and killing thousands of them.

If Russia does decide to invade Ukraine, my personal view is that there would be some resistance from the Ukrainians but the rest of 'the West' will not get heavily involved. It'll be a transition of power.
