Of course it does, my point is aimed at the Russian people who are so readily swept along by this absurd rhetoric when logic dictates that’s it’s clearly implausible. Imagine the undertaking of occupying a country like Russia against a hostile population. It was hard enough in Iraq and Afghanistan. It would be virtually impossible in Russia.
Anyone applying any common sense to the landscape can surely see this. The Russian people’s irrationality and paranoia around this is preposterous. No one is invading or conquering Russia. It’s a comical thing to believe.
They believe they could occupy a country the size of Ukraine in a matter of days. This misplaced thinking is embedded into them. Russia is such a vast country it lacks any sort of infrastructure or road network in parts of it.
