Yet without them it's unlikely that the USA, Russia, China, the UK and France would have signed up and without all of those 5 the UN would be toothless.Permanent seats and veto powers are the biggest problem in the UN.
Not sure personally if I’d fancy one made up of China, India, USA, Pakistan and Indonesia though but Heyho.They surely should be. At least to a significant extent.
Pretty sure that was the principal argument for China becoming a member.
