Russian invasion of Ukraine

It will take 2-3 weeks for floods to subsude - there is a lot if water in the Dinipro reservoir. Then another 2-3 weeks for land to dry out to support vehicles.
The Russians have bought 6 weeks in the short term
But in the medium and long term the whole of the Dnipro from Nova Kakhovka to Zaporizhzhia then becomes an active front line.

It's also going to stop all plans for counterattacking in the short term while all Ukrainian resources will be dedicated to evacuating and rescuing people, and the Zaporiznha Power plant is going to dominate the world news and tie up politicians until it's certain it's safe.

I knew we sent Storm Shadow missiles - didn't realise we'd sent bouncing bombs as well.

EDIT: Actually that makes it more likely it's the Russians, knowing their penchant for using museum pieces on the battlefield now.

Not sure how accurate. Looks like its Russian defenecs that get hit harder here.

This is what I was on about before..Left bank is lower.
If you knew a large scale offensive is coming, why would you wipe out your own troops and defence lines?
I know they are thick, but fuck me,it's just insane.
On another note, look at Kamyanske,Zaporizhzhia Region, then go 130km directly East.
That line has an absolutely insane amount of Ukrainian Forces.
It's as if that's where they are planning an offensive,South of that line.
Where the fuck the Russians gonna go now bar Crimea?

Slava Ukraini.
