Russian invasion of Ukraine

Oh I totally agree, as things stand the reservoir and flooding together make it a bigger obstacle for a long time to come.

I doubt Ukraine were going that way anyway, I've always thought they go for the coast of the Azov Sea anyway, cut them in half.
Coast of Azov could be correct,IMO.
I mentioned yesterday a 130km line East from Kamyanske.
Some areas along that line,Ukrainian Forces have advanced up to 10km.
Melitopol and Tokmak getting hammered ATM.

Slava Ukraini.

Then Crimea is their only exit.

It think this maybe a little optimistic. at normal levels your looking at the minimum of 2/3 miles across. even if it drops by 75% odds are your still looking at half mile to cross.
Have you seen the amount of Bridging kit that was shipped into Ukraine from Roumania a week ago? I guess they were going to use it in Kherson South of the dam. What to do now?
The mud will be dry in 2/3 weeks judging by the weather forecast.

Yep. And the longest pontoon bridge in military history was 620 meters. Unless there planning on breaking that record by a hell of a long way I can see it happening.

Need dozens of not 100’s of bridges rather than 1 big one.
