Be surprised if this rebellion carried on. Even with 30k troops Wagner must be small time compared to the Russian armed forces.

50,000 troops apparently.

If Russian army troops and commanders join him, he could end up commanding a much bigger force which could threaten Putin and the current Russian army generals who have shit all over Russian (cannon fodder) soldiers since the start of the war.

russia struggled to cope with the incursions a couple of weeks back never mind a well equipped wagner. The more helicopters they keep shooting down the better, less they can send to Ukraine.

We've seen the condition of the weapons Putin has given his troops. I would think his reserves in Russia are basic conscripts too.
