Russian invasion of Ukraine

in my opinion this won’t be external funding coming in. He’s protesting his business from Russia as the Russian MOD wanted to dissolve Wagner and hire all its merc’s directly.

As for 6.2bn being lost. A few months back they found a large sum of money due to an accounting error which was used to send arms to Ukrainian. Bet it’s that!

Yea the 6.2B didn’t go missing, it was the US military overestimating the cost of aid to Ukraine. They used the cost to replace stuff rather than the book value of the stuff. Obviously a 10 year old Javelin missile that needs to be decommissioned soon is not worth the same as a brand new Javelin missile bought to replace the old one that’s been sent to Ukraine.

Which means the White House can now release another 6.2B of aid to make up the difference without going back to congress to ask to authorise more.

russia struggled to cope with the incursions a couple of weeks back never mind a well equipped wagner. The more helicopters they keep shooting down the better, less they can send to Ukraine.
Maybe that was what gave Prighozin the idea and made him realise that fighting towards Moscow would be a lot easier than fighting towards Ukraine

Russian forces are barely restisting Wagner. If forces join Wagner then it's game over for Putin.

Perhaps they have had enough of Putins ridiculous war?

If you were in the Russian armed forces you would know roughly how many casualties you had had. You would have lost many friends and colleagues. You would know losses are many times to official figures.

You would have realised that this war will go on for a long time as the Ukrainians are proud independent people who are quite prepared to give everything to defend their land.

Is this everyday Russians coming to their senses?
