In Normandy the ultimate victory was the ability of the allies to grind out territorial gains with superior material supply which the German army couldn’t. I think Russia will sit tight on the gains as result and let Ukraine keep battering away until their losses become untenable. Maybe ending in UN peace keeping force along the lines of Cyprus. Alternatively we could obliterate the planet as Putin’s farewell gift.

But the Russians are losing many more men when the Ukraines are attacking with the Ukrainian application of concentrated force in a small area and due to the crazy Ivan tactics of counter attacking immediately.
Unless the Russian tactics change they are fucked.

Lost track.....had a bit of shit to do in Liverpool,had a few beers.
Fell asleep on the train home,ended up in Doncaster,no trains back.
Could not get a hotel for love nor money,ended up sleeping at the back of an ASDA.
Currently sat at Doncaster train station waiting for a train to Sheffield and change to Manchester.
