Listened to a piece on this earlier on Radio 4 and Europe is still buying plenty of Russian gas today, albeit in solid form with a view to stopping entirely in 2027. This process should be expedited forthwith.

We are essentially giving Russia cash so it can rearm and go again which is actually insanity.
