Russian invasion of Ukraine

some kgb officer in Tokmak is afraid that town will be Ukrainian in the coming days. first they expected to be evacuated to Melitopil' now they'll be moved to Crimea
Get them all into Crimea, blow up the bridges and starve them out.

Wasn't it said a couple of weeks ago that when tomak falls, they will have a near straight run to the coast because Russia don't have much inbetween?

Has European “Ukraine-fatigue” set in yet?

Barely makes the news in the States anymore. Feels like they’re fighting a stalemate, while Russian troops simply destroy more and more buildings and infrastructure, making the fight for a land grab almost worthless from here.

Western Ukraine Infrastructure is becoming more uninhabitable rubble on a daily basis.
No.

Whilst it barely makes the main news here, a lot of us realise the importance of the fight and the reasons why many nations are happy to hand over weapons to Ukraine.

It's just "media" fatigue, if something significant happens (like the drone attack on the aircraft) it still gets reported.

As for "Western Ukraine Infrastructure is becoming more uninhabitable rubble on a daily basis", most of what we get to see are just isolated attacks, and for much of Ukraine life goes on, it's not "normal" as before the invasion, but they're still getting on with it.

Fox News: There is no Ukrainian offensive, and the Russian one is about to begin

The Times: By the end of the year, Britain will run out of weapons for Ukraine

CNN: Biden administration not ready to ramp up arms shipments to Ukraine

Evening Standard: Kyiv will not be able to recover from the unsuccessful counteroffensive on Kherson

The Washington Post: There are no signs of a Ukrainian offensive on the Kherson front

The Economist: Cool down in Kherson! Why the Ukrainian army should not rush to recapture the entire province.

Do you know what is the most interesting? This is a selection of just some of the Western press headlines for August-September 2022. What happened after, I think everyone remembers very well.
