They are NATO members. I can't see Putin starting a proper war with Nato.

With what exactly, they've virtually no tanks left (that aren't 80 years old), and most of their soldiers are dead.

On the plus side, if they do try, Ukraine will over run what's left there, and NATO would rout whatever they put into the Baltic states.

Would be hillarious to watch, but fairly briefly.

Possibly. Bild do have quite the history of getting hold of hacked emails and documents tho.

Also possible Germany have many levels of plans from very worst case to best and they got the worst one.
