Russian invasion of Ukraine

Also, NATO Article 5 needs a unanimous vote for my understanding rather than a Majority. so assuming Russia knows for a fact they can get 1 country to veto NATO cant go all in. not that that would stop the majority of other countries doing it anyways.
There's a few NATO countries who'll never back it, which begs the question why they are in NATO anyway.

NATO membership should only be allowed if they are required to back it before becoming members, therefore no vote required.

Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of Ukraine, confirms a hit on Belbek Airfield in occupied Crimea

He wrote:

"Did you know that the Ukrainian Air Force includes the 204th Sevastopol Tactical Aviation Brigade?

❗️Yes, and its home base is the Belbek airfield!

Ukrainian aviators will definitely return home to their home airfield.

In the meantime, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the cleansing of Crimea from the Russian presence!

Together to victory!"

I suppose Putin will underestimate Russian losses whilst Ukraine will overestimate them.

Ukraine figures have been lower than some western intelligence agencies to be honest.

US has it as 315k Russian dead or removed from battle injured as of Dec 2023.
