From "The Analyst":

RUSSIAN POLL SHOWS INCREASING WAR WEARINESS

A telephone poll published in Russia this week showed dramatic increases in those opposed to the war.
Asked if they could go back in time, would they choose to cancel or stop the special military operation, a staggering 37% said yes they would.
This figure has doubled in six months and shows increasing weariness. It’s also directly proportional to the increased casualty rate as we reach the milestone of 400,000 Russian combat deaths some time this month.
More and more people are affected so more and more are willing to say something.
Yesterday Russian police arrested the press - but not the women - protesting about the effective disappearance of their soldier husbands in Moscow. That shows you how sensitive they are to directly acting against them and riling up a great many more.
It’s was pressure from wives and mothers that ended the Afghanistan campaign in 1989 and played an instrumental civil role in ending the Soviet Union.
It’s so much of a big deal that Russian propaganda actors pose as widowed women to counter the arguments of the growing online groups, callously using arguments that the women don’t understand the fact their loved ones willingly lay down their lives for the fatherland.

A stalemate has formed in the war on land, but there are results at sea, — ZelenskyiThe situation has reached a dead end primarily due to delays in the supply of equipment, in addition, there is not enough ammunition, Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in an interview with Rai1. He emphasized that Ukraine is fighting against terrorists who have one of the largest armies in the world. On the other hand, our soldiers have good results at sea:"Russia lost many ships, and we managed to build a grain corridor in the Black Sea, so this pragmatic part of the operation, which has an impact on the economy, was carried out positively," — Zelenskyi

Europe simply needs to step up because we plainly can’t rely upon the States anymore. It will make us all poorer in the sort term but safer and better off in the long term. Russia simply cannot prevail under any circumstances.
The quicker Europe can become independent of USA funding the better, I don’t mean military support boots on the ground but I’m looking after ourselves, all countries need to up their GDP to at least the standard 2% on defence. I’m currently rewatching the World at War and the same shit is happening again, we have obviously not learned our lessons. I think WW3 has started in small form already, Russia into Europe, the Chinese wanting Taiwan, it’s all echoes of Germany and Japan, unfortunately the consequences with idiots like N Korea having nukes and the middle east powder keg the stakes are pretty high. We can’t really on the USA with what’s going on there and the sooner Europe wake up to that the better, they may have the best military but their politicians are the worst (not that ours are much better).

They are completely losing their minds and cannot be relied upon. The sooner we wake up to this reality, the better.
