It was a cheap move by the opposition and part of the FDP at the cost of Ukraine. They knew it would fail before, because Scholz didn't change his mind. It seems that there are problems with the constitution with the sending of Taurus. I am no lawyer and one can ask why Scholz isn't more transparent with the whole issue if he has indeed strong constitutional boundaries.

Some context would have been nice though. Germany is currently the biggest supporter outside of the US by a mile. It's just that Scholz doesn't want to send Taurus for some reason. Some pundits say, they need to get set up by German soldiers which is forbidden by the constitution but nobody really knows.
