Still burning...
Putin is going to keep this war going until January 2025, at which time the next US President has elected and comes into office. WIth a bit of luck, it's Biden once more. If it's Trump... Ukraine is likely screwed. There's going to be zero support for Ukraine under a Trump presidency.
Europe needs to counter that possibility and step up (personally, I think it should happen irrespective of who the US President is). There are signs that this is happening ie ‘Rheinmetall announces Germany expands current framework contract for 155 mm artillery ammunition, rising from total value of presently 1.2 billion Euros to 8.5 bln. Berlin to buy lions share, partially to supply Ukraine. Denmark, Estonia, Netherlands also partners.’ @Faznet.
Not sure about that.Putin is going to keep this war going until January 2025, at which time the next US President has elected and comes into office. WIth a bit of luck, it's Biden once more. Not sure about that.
Even Trump isn't stupid enough to realise that if the US wants international support in it's forthcoming conflict with China he has to get support from Europe.
