Stuff 22/06
It looks like surrender desertions are starting to happen. Russian military police units have been deployed to Hyboke (Lyptsi) to improve morale.
Not happening mate...
Ukrainian Forces launched an offensive towards Hlyboke,this morning......and they are motoring.
Up to a 1.5km gain....today!

Some sort of terror attack going on in Dagestan right now, doesn't look good.
- in Derbent and Makhachkala, an attack was carried out on two Orthodox churches, a synagogue and a traffic police post;

- Those who attacked Makhachkala and Derbent are adherents of an international terrorist organization;

- Two sons of the head of the Sergokalinsky region of Dagestan, Magomed Omarov, took part in the attack on Makhachkala: Osman and Adil Omarov. The information has not been confirmed;

- Two attackers at a traffic police post in Makhachkala were killed. At least two more were detained on the territory of the Beryozka beach;

- Nine people died, seven of them were police officers. 25 people were injured;

- A priest was killed during an attack on a church in Derbent. His throat was cut;

- 40 hostages are locked in an Orthodox church in the Kirov district of Makhachkala. The information has not been confirmed;

- a CTO regime was introduced in Dagestan. The Russian National Guard operates on the streets with armored vehicles.

Not good.
Russia will blame Ukraine though.

I see Russians on a beach in Crimea close to the Belbek airbase got hit by shrapnel 5 dead - including 3 children.
More than likely shrapnel from a failed interception, but hey, newspaper's seem to jump at the behest of Russian press releases.
Yet when cafes and schools and apartments get hit in Ukraine every day - silence.
I'd like to say laziness - easy copy to cut and paste - but they don't pick up Ukrainian press releases do they?

I can remember early in the 3 day war the Russians sat on the beach there laughing and pointing at planes overhead, explosions in the distance etc.

Not laughing now are they.

From "The Analyst":

TORETSK LOSSES

The Russians have found and exploited a Ukrainian weak spot in the front protecting Toretsk, south of Klieshievka, and an area that has barely altered in years - right back to the 2014-15 period.
It appears the Ukrainians had withdrawn a heavy presence and after months of probing up and down the front the Russians finally found a new weak spot.
Unfortunately they managed to advance extremely quickly, by as much as two kilometres in two prongs of attack.
Ukraine isn’t saying much about it yet but alarm bells are ringing.
Depending on the forces the Russians have available, they might not fully exploit it given their resources, but will certainly try.
However it’s also been noted that they have withdrawn a number of units from the Kharkiv front due to exhaustion - with no apparent replacement. They may well be switching their focus yet again.
