Russian invasion of Ukraine

From "The Analyst":

TORETSK LOSSES

The Russians have found and exploited a Ukrainian weak spot in the front protecting Toretsk, south of Klieshievka, and an area that has barely altered in years - right back to the 2014-15 period.
It appears the Ukrainians had withdrawn a heavy presence and after months of probing up and down the front the Russians finally found a new weak spot.
Unfortunately they managed to advance extremely quickly, by as much as two kilometres in two prongs of attack.
Ukraine isn’t saying much about it yet but alarm bells are ringing.
Depending on the forces the Russians have available, they might not fully exploit it given their resources, but will certainly try.
However it’s also been noted that they have withdrawn a number of units from the Kharkiv front due to exhaustion - with no apparent replacement. They may well be switching their focus yet again.
Sad news.

Macron on Ukraine five minutes ago
I don’t think there will be a war on our soil (...), nor that we will fight on Ukrainian soil tomorrow. What is at stake in Ukraine, which is 1,500 kilometres from our border, is not the end of the world, it is also the future of Europe and our security, because if we do not do what we are doing together, we (...) in fact let the law of the strongest prevail, there is no reason why Russia should stop there.

UK is miles from Russia but my biggest fear is if Ukraine falls he will move on Poland then we would be in a third world war, Putin is another dangerous despot and we should help Ukraine all we can
