India currently hoovering up large quantities of oil, re branding it and selling it on to Europe who know exactly where it came from so who is in the wrong? India are providing a service to those countries in the west more than happy to still fund Russia but don't want to be seen doing it directly.

Yet they are running a risk. The US is now persuing secondary sanctions and countries and shippers who handle this stuff will be sanctioned. Some UAE operators have already dropped out for this reason.
