If Russia throws more and more men and weapons into Ukraine, where there is evidently no likelihood of long-term victory, it quickly denudes itself elsewhere, leaving huge chunks of its east vulnerable. What does Putin then do when he's exhausted his conventional forces?

The amount of propaganda on both sides is intense.

Reports of Putin's mental wellbeing etc are utter and total bollocks, he has planned this for a long time and keep looking east to the Chinese, they are key to a lot of this, as long as they favour the Russian side, Putin is in the box seat.

His army has left him in shit street and that's a huge worry, he won't accept defeat, let's hope the negotiations succeed, reading between the lines both parties are talking and making progress.
