Russian invasion of Ukraine

We'll have to wait and see. It will certainly be interesting to see how much countries invest in new armour on the back of this.
Well we're upgrading 2/3 of our Challenger 2 fleet to Challenger 3 with reactive armour, anti drone systems and the latest trophy armour. Yes drones, anti drones and NLAWs are being invested in.
Our problem is tge new military money pit of the Ajax replacement for the warrior APC.

I'm surprise Putin decided to launch the War (Special Operation) in the Winter. You'd have thought he would have learnt from Napoleon & Hitler's mistakes as his vehicles became bogged down in the mud, leaving them sitting ducks. If Ukraine had a decent airforce they could have took out most of that 40 mile convoy.
You can add Stalin with Finland into that list.

Zelenksky addressing German Parliament was quite impressive basically a thanks for fucking nothing and enjoy the Russian gas.

We simply don't know that.

We are helping Ukraine and when that help really threatens the Russian invasion to the extent of total failure, who's to say Putin won't go nuclear, dragging NATO in.

Far too simple for some to say as long as we don't put boots on the ground, Putin won't go nuclear.
There is lots we don't know

There is lots we can make a good guess at or hold an opinion on

One such matter is that - IMO - if the question is what might push Putin into going nuclear - then NATO entering into direct conflict with Russia is far more likely than if NATO continues its current stance
