Russian invasion of Ukraine

A very simplistic and basic question from someone who has no knowledge of the intricacies of this war but, if someone were to put a bullet in Putins head would all this madness stop?
Sadly too many in the United Russia party share his views. The only way this will change is if the Ukrainians totally defeat the Russians and then join NATO.

Where do people stand on further intervention from the West if any attack happens to come from Belarus? Or is it all posturing at the moment trying to make Ukraine second guess?

At the moment I live practically on the border with Belarus, the border with it is very well protected this time. Yes, and I doubt that the armed forces of Belarus will enter the war without any success in the East or South of Ukraine on the part of the russian troops

The State Duma Deputy(united Russia party),has apparently said that any Finnish citizens who travel into Russia to get cheap fuel, must now sign a document supporting the war in Ukraine and condemning anti-Russian sanctions.

Slava Ukraini.
