The situation is so fluid that it would be out of date the moment it were posted.

Mobile phone signals near Kherson at 11pm last night...

every so often something hits home harder than expected and this is one of them.

the ones in the river are all ( bar a couple )down stream from the bridge.

Odds are they are dead bodies flowing down stream after being killed on the bridge.

As a %age of GDP, UK has sent 3 times Germany and 6 times France.

And Germany is supplying probably 20 times Ukranian refugees and families than the UK. most likely more.

It's quite stunning to think at the difference of situations compared to February this year. Where the world stood still, gripped by fear and sadness, with Russia flexing muscles, threatening left right and centre and today... the reminiscence of a whimpering dying dog, the realisations of a decrepit, dying state built on lies and corrupt to such extents their biggest enemy is themselves.

Not even the greatest strategists could have defeated Russia, quite as hard as they have done it themselves.
