Russian invasion of Ukraine

No absolutely not, will be a fine line between making sure it's no Treaty of Versailles and russia descending into anarchy with unaccounted nukes. Or letting them recover and rebuild to give it another go.
Yes, agreed on the Treaty of Versailles point, but Germany wasn’t allow to keep any land it had stolen as part of that treaty.

The sanctions should certainly be revisited if Russia gives the land back. It can’t be all carrot and no stick.

As you suggest, as with much of this conflict, it’s an extremely complex balancing exercise.

More on the US avaiiable weapons shortage for Ukraine.

A damning indictment of Badem's presidency if accurate. The world is burning and the US has not been preparing for a bad future outcome.

More an issue of capitalism in my view. The US gov doesn’t manufacture arms, arms suppliers like Lockheed do. The us Gov are just one client ( obviously the no 1 client ).

They have been inundated with orders from around the world and haven’t been able to keep up with demand and have been slow to ramp up production.

The are the same. It’s taken us far too long to get around to setting up new factories for making artillery shells.

I’m quite surprised some of the smaller / newer arms suppliers that have popped up over the last few years haven’t stepped up to try to fill this void.

Add into this that the west’s military manufacturers were not geared up at all for an artillery war. The west is geared up to an air superiority war.

Russia sent a load of Air Defence Systems to North Korea as a "thankyou" for sending the Troops.
Recently,NK has sent,to Russia....
Over 100 pieces of Artillery.
100 Ballistic Missiles.
And more than 5 million large-caliber ammunition.
So,for those, who think Russia has an "endless supply"...think again.

Heroyam Slava.

Looks like Russia has moved so many troops out of Syria that the rebels have started to move again. Fighting in the streets of Aleppo
Seems to be a lot of chat about how disastrous this is for Russia, and some sort of masterstroke by Ukraine.

Why? What's going on? How are the Ukrainians involved?

All a complete mystery to me.
