Russian invasion of Ukraine

Our Nukes sit on top of US Trident missiles. I wouldn’t put it past that dickhead to stop all support and ask for them back.

Totally agree.

America as a back stop isn’t about boots on the ground, it’s about MAD.

Between ourselves and France we have enough to ensure MAD as well.

If Trump wants to pull out then let him fucking go.
The problem is that the US has the most powerful armed forces in the world.

Europe on the other hand is strong together but how long will we stay together. Government's change and as another poster pointed out ,there is no money. Both the far left and right will rise if the electorate is unhappy. Higher taxes and lack of public spending will cause resentment.

I would like to have confidence that everything will be fine but the American situation is very worrying

I don't really understand what the US wants at this point. European countries are admitting they need US support but that annoys the president as it's not a show of strength. I'm not convinced Starmer or Macron have any answers either. Sounds like he wants a complete withdrawal from NATO but won't say it publicly.
Between the stance on Ukraine, Nato, WHO and trade, it seems like he is going for a self isolation approach

There are ways to raise money.

Gaslighting cunts.

By the way, maybe Starmer realises what he is, but he’s got to keep his powder dry while Europe tries to prepare for the inevitable.

This **** is a Russian asset.

How can anyone not now see this?
Interesting that many high up in the UK military were telling us for some time that we would need to step-up, that this was coming.

That could only have been the ‘risk’ evaluation if there was intelligence to suggest Trump would side with Putin.

Starmer has played a blinder in all this and, I’d say, in my humble opinion, he’s been briefed accordingly and is aware of the play.
