I suppose all serious and educated and non-russia-paid Euopean politicians think exactly that, but we are in a sad, weak and dependent situation (still) and have to swallow most self-confident statements, even have to friendly applaud the most idiotic US leader of all times. They all hate it, but have to play that game.
 
If a United European army went in to drive ruSSia out of Ukraine with a remit of not stepping on ruSSian soil would that be deemed an attack on ruSSia? If so logically, North Korea is effectively at war with Ukraine .

Trump just agrees with whoever he last spoke too. He is a weak man who just wants approval wherever he goes.
It really does point to a heavy mental decline. His supposed one to one meeting was changed to a three man meeting etc. There was no way he was being left alone to agree to whatever Putin wanted.

He is being controlled in the background, which explains his apparent erratic (flip flop) behaviour. The infighting between those closest to him has lead to him only believing those who tell him what he wants to hear. His main objective was to divert attention away from the Epstein files. The cost was showing how weak he really is.

We will see if that's the case over the following days when Zelensky and the European allies speak to him. If we see another shift in stance, it will confirm he's not in control. Whatever happens, the Epstein files shouldn't be allowed to go away. It is causing massive divisions and is the best way to help get rid of him.

Trump takes a firm stance on a ceasefire before he meets Putin.

He meets Putin and the necessity of the ceasefire morphs into a peace deal, because ceasefires frequently don’t hold apparently. Despite one being absolutely necessary a couple of days ago.

A peace deal that will inevitably be framed on Putin’s terms, which are always wholly unreasonable. No other possibility would withstand any objective scrutiny.

There is no other rational course of events that are conceivable given the timeline. Otherwise, why change tack in that way and at that time?

The daft **** has been totally manipulated. Not that anyone should be remotely surprised.

This is the key time for Europe to stand up.

It still is necessary for Ukraine to capitulate in this way.
You couldn't withdraw without one and built sufficient defensive permissions.
But that's a thought experiment as Ukraine won't accept these surrender terms.
