Its the media- dont bother even reading what they say as its made up bollocks. As if the Mirror knows what Mancini is feeling.
I stopped reading the media a long time ago.
I agree. It's not easy to decipher the truth from the spurious bulshit that the mischievous media dream up in order to sell 'news'papers.

Whilst the truth will imminently transpire to what will actually happen, i'm f*cking sick of yet another never ending transfer saga on RvP being linked to us.
so are we, so leave this muck out in future!!!!

Most of you should be excited at the prospect of signing RVP

No fucking chance dont want that rapist twat here .... hes not as good as what we have.... if we only played with Sergio upfront on his tod and he took all the penalties he would have scored 40+ goals last season but we might not have won the Premier though, the other strikers did the business too when needed

RVP is a done deal at City, had that from someone from Umbro a month ago..City are playing hardball with Arsenal to get his fee down to a realistic level..he will be a great addition to our squad, despite his faults he is class and dont forget we will be fighting on 3 or 4 fronts for trophies this coming season..Dzeko will unfortunately be leaving to make way..im not ITK other than i was told this by someone at Umbro who`s at the coal face.
The Rags noises about RVP are about raising finance for the share issue in The States..no chance of signing RVP they wont pay His wages and he`s not interested in the busted flush swamp. He wants Trophies before he calls it a day, so that = City

It all sounds very convincing

You sound ITK to me tho.

That's an interesting call!

Personally I wouldn't like him to end up at the swamp - the prospect of him and "Sweetie" Rooney playing off each other could be a bit problematic, even if only for a couple of seasons.

I would like to see him being a part of our squad next season, assuming we can ditch Ade and Crocky, which would give us a mouth-watering five man strike force for RM to rotate at his will!

Fuck me, how can anyone on here blame the media when we have two fucking threads on the ****! The other one is well on it's way to 100 pages, but everyone blames the media.....you couldn't make this shit up.

Theres a gunner in the office who reckons RVP is better than our Sergio. Deluded...

He is...
Are you sure?

Twelve months ago there would be no doubt that 100% of us would use said Kun is by far the better pkayer, and he's 6 years younger. van Persie had a good season last season and all of a sudden everyone thinks he's this magic player. The truth is for 90% of his career he's been just about above average to good (at top level standards). At 23 vP was nothing. At 23 Kun scored 30 goals in England.
I hate that argument. It says that a player gets better and better the more experience and older they get. Like every player is better when they are 28 than they were at 23. Truth is alot of players dont develop after 23 and alot goes backwards. Its a stupid argument as we have no idea how good argue will be in fine years time.

Rooney is the perfect example. he's 26 and honestly when I look at him at 21 I was expecting him to develop alot more than he has. He has become less exciting and far more predictable the older he got

BS he is better than all of our strikers

RVP was never 'mediocre', he was just injury prone and young. For the past 5 or so seasons, he's been consistent, but has either played out of position, or played behind another top striker or player up until the last 2 years when he's been the main man attack wise and has shone at it.

RVP. will NOT SIGN for city. That is a fact. I sound like the fat spanish waiter. I will wager anybody on here whatever they want.

I will bet £1 at the odds of 1,000,000 to 1, thank you kind sir.

I hope this is true. There are up to ten players i'd rather have before vP, and i don't even want a striker really.

Wait till we don't sign him, which we wont.,
City will be in crisis, the Sheikh is not interested any more. We will be facing any number of ludicrous headlines.
If RVP goes to United he will have chose them over us, United over money. Blah blah.

Is it me or have Arsenal only confirmed bids from United and Juve? I have not ready anywhere that we have bid. Or anywhere where the words 'reported' or 'supposed' have not been used to describe our bid.

Mancini and the club have reiterated time & time again that Dzeko & Tevez are not leaving and obviously Mario and Aguero will be going nowhere.

The media are desperate to report our interest in RVP. We can't win. If we do sign him (I believe there is no chance) we will be ruining the competitiveness of the Prem, if we don't sign him (which I hope we don't) we have lost out to United, they are still the force they always were and he chose United over money, all the while doubling his money and moving to a club with less chance of honours than City.

City and the media would made for the phrase, ignorance is bliss. Don't read, don't care.

This :) most medias are all about lie even when it comes to news

I dont want RVP, we dont need him, I just think he would complicate team selection, hope he goes abroad, keep our four strikers and include the young Swedish lad, what's needed is cover at CB, and LB, should Kolorov go.

Agree, RVP looked poor in the Euro and he's fragile.

Mancini has been quoted numerous times including today. He's clearly pissed off we've not made any signings and shifting blame onto Marwood does us no favours. This story clearly has plenty of truth to it
