Ryan Dunn (Jackass) RIP

I really don't understand why people are defending him? does someone have to kill kids in incidents like this before they are branded a twat?

I'm with you on this one mate.

Is it me or do people think its tragic because its a guy who was quite famous by making people laugh. If it was some normal Joe Bloggs in the local paper who nobody knew, IMO people would probably say "No sympathy for the fucking idiot"

Whether he was drunk or not, driving at that reported speed, he could have quite easily killed more people had he crashed in to another car.

I know this much, if one of my friends had said to me he/she had been driving at 110mph after having some beers, i'd call him/her all the cunts under the sun!

On watching this video and seeing his best mate break down pretty much half way through i have to admit im thinking why be such an idiot, the pain he has caused people by just speeding, without even mentioning the drink.
Even one of the main police guys at the scene said he has never in all his year seen a car disintigrate so much. crazy

A disastrous mistake that cost the life of his mate and his own. Thankfully nobody else was involved, and yet I can still have sympathy for anyone who loses their life after making a mistake. I think it is called compassion, something so many appear to be devoid of which saddens me. I can understand the outrage, but surely the guy still deserves to rest in peace FFS.

I lost a mate a week before Christmas in 2007, a needless car accident that killed two. The driver, his mate, lived after suffering serious injuries and was jailed for just over 5 years. A shame it wasn't just him that died? Yes. Did he deserve to die because they did?. No, however living with the death of two mates on your conscience because you made the mistake of driving like a twat is probably worse and I can have sympathy for him.

Drink driving at 110mph = idiotic but deserving of death, don't make me laugh.

god forbid if a member of your family is killed by someone who drinks drives at 110MPH lets see if its so easy to forgive and forget then...

As I said no sympathy from me just like my mate got when he crashed his car at 4am and somehow survived, I even told him "If you would of died I wouldn't of attended your funeral" and that "you're lucky to have escaped unharmed and even luckier to of not killed anyone in the process, stop acting like a fuckin' bellend and grow the fuck up"

Well thank shite I don't attract mates like you into my life. As you can see, I lost a mate to dangerous driving three and a half years ago, so I know to some extent exactly how it feels.

Police reported it as auto-accident as opposed to DUI so can we lay off the drink driving bollocks until the toxicology reports are back in a month.

I'm sorry if you are offended by it but its a fitting punishment for someone who has killed another human being.

Fair enough if the guy had just crashed speeding like 5MPH over the limit that can be easily done, but lets say he was in a 50MPH zone reports state he was doing 110MPH it can't be proved but to wrap you car around a tree killing both people in the car as well as causing it to explode he must of been licking speed, cars do not just explode when in a crash how many footballers crash their cars doing stupid speed but still come out alive and making their car a right off.

-- Wed Jun 22, 2011 5:42 pm --

The truth is if it was Baconface reported to have crashed whilst speeding then no one on here would give a flying fuck and would wish the guy a slow and painfull death but because its some random guy from jackass he deserves respect.

grown man driving at that speed with a passenger, total bellend.

feel sorry for his friends and family for there loss, but as for him i have no sympathy.

That is just an assumption on your behalf blue. I wouldn't wish death upon anyone for making a mistake regardless of whether it killed somebody else. Of course, I would prefer that they only killed themselves through their own recklessness and yet I don't believe they deserve it.

There are always going to be differing of opinions and I can respect that, I just can't get my head around the fact some people think an act of stupidity is deserving of such a consequence.

I've had a lot of mates die over the years in avoidable accidents, some of which were caused by their own recklessness or that of others. People make mistakes all the time, but I think in general most people have the attitude "it won't happen to me" and take risks those of us more realistic wouldn't.

I believe the sort of slow and painful death you speak of should be reserved for those that intentionally cause suffering, the child abusers, rapists and murderers of the world.

Police are now saying he was over twice the legal limit and driving close to 140. While I sympathize with those he leaves behind, if he'd used his fucking loaf he'd still be alive. What a plonker.
