If he’s not done wrong however the same thing applies. And that’s pretty shit for anyone put in that position, however usually it’s regular people who aren’t in the limelight. A lot easier to move on.

How can you blame the police or the Cps ! If they hadn't charged him people would be slagging them off. They charge him and still get slagged off.Pretty shabby by the CPS and the police if the evidence was not water tight to bring it to the crown court
sounds to me that the jury was sold down the river with little evidence and only had his words against hers
but like most cases like this, money for top lawyers worked for giggs because the jury failed
He can ask yes.......Never mind that..... if the case is dismissed can he ask for his Wales job back?

Let’s hope he slips away into obscurity and nobody has to see his stupid beady fucking eyes again.He was know as a **** before this trial to be fair!! And I know a couple of people who know him.
The CPS have the same procedure in deeming which cases are likely to deliver a guilty verdict. If they are unsure, they likely don’t make it to court.
What they can’t know is what happens in the court case. A witness makes a mess of their evidence or some physical evidence may be disallowed due to poor procedure etc.
The defence only need to prove reasonable doubt, not innocence, too.
The CPS and police Evidence should be water tight, so it makes the jury life a lot easier with or without good lawyers
like I said, why take it to the crown court if the Evidence is not water tight ? I just don't get it
