He should go somewhere like Villa. They’ll need more bodies now they’re in the CL and they are quite good recently at bringing back players who strayed off the path a bit.

I’m quite impressed that they picked up Rodgers after 3 mediocre/bad loans, not many would have and now he’s worth 5x what they paid last summer.

Was a really top prospect about 7 years ago, I can understand the idea that it could be tempting to see if we could resurrect that. However the game is littered with great 17 year olds who just have decent careers, I couldn't see him doing any better for us than Sergio Gomez does, so no real point.

There’s not many players who were POTY in the championship at 17 and washed up at 24.

Just needs to find the right club.

Fair. Probably needs to play a lot more games than he'd get being in our squad though.

Would be good for one of the promoted sides - Leicester maybe, seeing as theyll be keeping an eye on their spending.

You don’t actually watch Villa ever do you?

For a start he arrived at the end of January, with 15 league games left and he played 11 of them, starting 9 of the last 10 he was fit for.

He also started all 4 of their knockout games in Europe.
