For a start he arrived at the end of January, with 15 league games left and he played 11 of them, starting 9 of the last 10 he was fit for.

He also started all 4 of their knockout games in Europe.

I've watched lots of his minutes and knew he signed in February unlike you who thought he signed in the summer. I've also watched him play plenty of times for City. I've certainly not seen a 40-50m player in those minutes. As you said he signed in the summer i assumed you thought we'd sold him to Villa and he was 5 times that value not 5 times the fee Villa paid which is anything from £8m up to £15m inc add ons depending on which report you read.

What has happened to him ? Was the next big thing. Would he be good enough to be back up left back if we get in a proper left back and sold Gomez ? Don’t suppose Pep will want to left back mind given the current formation and as a still relatively young player he will want to play

Hard to say as no one has seen him play in over a year, but I think my original point stands. He’s not really got a position. He’s not a good enough defender to be a full back and not productive enough to be a winger.

Looked a good prospect a number of years ago but there’s no way in hell we’ll sign him. He’s a left back for a start.

A move to a mid-table team could resurrect his career.

Spurs are very poor when spending significant sums on players. I do like to bring this up when Spurs supporting friends and family state "It's easy to win trophies when you can spend lots of money".
