Funniest thing I've seen in the transfer market was how Villas Boas blew all that Gareth Bale money on the likes of Chadli, Capoue, Soldado, Lamela and Chichiries, Chirichies. Felt like something you would see on a comedy show.Spurs are very poor when spending significant sums on players. I do like to bring this up when Spurs supporting friends and family state "It's easy to win trophies when you can spend lots of money".
