America is a weird country full of weird people. Their playing of sport is no different.

Their 4 most popular sports are only played in their country because they’re absolutely shite and no one else wants to play them. The crowds at those sports are terrible and it’s more of an “event” full of sponsorships, advertisements and cheer leading performances than it is a love of sport.

The Ryder Cup is one of the few sports the USA compete at internationally. Every other major sport that has a World Cup they either don’t play or don’t care about.

Watching their fans at these events is fucking cringe worthy. They start off rabidly chanting USA over and over again and screaming a lot, then when things go wrong just flip to abuse of the opposition. The worst thing is the abuse has no creativity or humour to it. Following people around and just shouting “fuck them” and putting them off when addressing the ball is so fucking childish.

The win was made all the more sweet by letting them get a sniff. Loved watching Lowry lose his shit on 18 and send all the thick cunts home.

They are the worst of worst losers and it’s always great to beat them.

I only made it through 3 of 4 quarters at a Lakers NBA game before we walked out.

It was full of big screen kiss cams, celebrity spotting and cheer leading. Everyone eating loads of shite oversized food and drink and no one really paying any attention to the game.

Outside of a few shouts of “go team” and a bloke intermittently playing then Adams family and people clapping along, there was absolutely no attempt to create an atmosphere.

It’s no surprise that when they play a proper sport against foreign opposition they just behave like complete twats.
