Hot on the heels of ridiculous WC ticket pricing, along comes the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Ireland and it's €500. It is for the full 3 days which based on some sporting events seems good value but given in Italy 2023 it was €260 it's another gouge. Worlds gone mad.

Live sports events are for the rich. The rest have dodgy-boxes and off-licences.
I gave up going to the Open many years ago because of the ridiculous pricing and the over crowding.
In recent years I've been going to West Lancs Open qualifying, it's a couple of weeks before the Open. It's 36 holes on the day, entry and parking your car are free and there are no ropes so you can get close to the action. A great day out.
