Sack Richard Littlejohn ...

Even if you disagree with someone, why shouldn't they be allowed to say it? This Country is becoming ridiculous.

These 'trans' media watch people are always starting witch hunts against journalists they have taken offence from. Only a couple of months ago they started a campaign against the long time feminist writer Suzanne Moore for a perceived slight.

It's tragic that someone has committed suicide but no-one does that just because of an article.

You're right off course. Littlejohn IS a twat though.

If any confirmation ( other than his twatish non personality) was needed, he is a fan of the corduroy trouser.

That is all.

He might be a tw@t, I've not read his work but it's so disheartening that free speech is being clamped down upon by people screaming faux outrage at every little thing. People calling for newspapers they don't agree with politically to be shut down. How can Britain promote openness, Human Rights, transparency and free speech in places like Russia and beyond when at home it's being undermined by groups with agendas?

-- Mon Mar 25, 2013 7:57 pm --

European Court of Human Rights, Article 8.

Thankfully, so far the European Court of Human Rights have consistently ruled in favour of free speech and a free press when cases have reached them.

With freedom and rights come responsibility and the press in this country have a pretty terrible record in that department over the past few years (or in the fail's case about 70 years, Nazi loving scum that they are)

There's nothing like a good conspiracy theory.

You do realise that you're chastising people FOR exercising their right to free speech don't you ?

It would seem that because YOU don't agree with their views , their free speech should be removed but Littlejohns remain.

Talk about ironing :)

No I'm not, I'm just putting a different view across.

Nothing wrong with freedom of speech. But when it unnecessarily targets an individual, especially in the way it has that made it difficult for this person to live then it is atrocious.
Just in the way jokes are funny but Frankie Boyles personal jokes about Jordans kid were awful.
